VILHELM PARFUMERIE: MANGO SKIN

HAVE YOU EVER REALLY TASTED ONE?

With a single bite, you can feel the mango in your veins. Wild colors, endless skies and untamed happiness: breathtaking South Africa becomes the backdrop for this expressionist burst of blackberries, mango and black pepper. A ripe fruit that reveals its complex flavors — a cocktail of wild orris, black lotus and jasmine that leaves behind patchouli, vanilla and a hint of pink sugar.

NOTES

Middle : Wild Orris, Black Lotus, Jasmin.

Amouage: GUIDANCE 46

EXTRAIT | FLORAL | AMBER

Enthralling and beguiling, Guidance 46 Exceptional Extrait is a study in light and shade, fragility and strength, subtlety and ostentatiousness - paradoxes brought together with an immediacy that can be achieved only by the art of perfumery. Dosed at a staggering 46% concentration.

What makes Guidance 46 an "Exceptional Extrait"?

Usually, a higher perfume oil concentration means an increased performance of the fragrance (particularly longer-lasting scent), but the impact of oil concentration is much more complex and varies depending on each formula.

  • Eau de Cologne (EDC) 3% - 10% oils

  • Eau de Toilette (EDT) 5% - 15% oils

  • Eau de Parfum (EDP) 15% - 20% oils

  • Parfum / Extrait 20% - 30% oils

  • Amouage Guidance 46 - 46% exceptional oils

46% oil concentration, 4 weeks ageing: 2 weeks maceration, 2 weeks maturation

A fragrance is usually a mix of a concentrate (containing fragrant oils) and an alcoholic base. Some fragrances can also contain a bit of water and additives like liquid UV filters, stabilizers, or colourants. Therefore, fragrances with a higher fragrance concentration contain more perfume oils and less alcohol, and vice-versa.

VILHELM PARFUMERIE: FACES OF FRANCIS

AN ODE TO INSPIRATION AND CREATIVITY

What is the artist thinking about in his studio? He thinks back to this volcanic island, somewhere in the Mediterranean. He thinks back to the colors and smells of Tangier where pistachio mixes with saffron. He thinks back to all his past or imaginary trips that still awaken his senses. Inspiration is a journey between memories and desires in the present.

INITIO PARFUMS: NARCOTIC DELIGHT

A SENSUAL SHOT OF PROVOCATION

It set its sights on the erogenous VANILLA BEAN, electrified by PINK PEPPER, drenched in a draught of COGNAC, before finally succumbing to the intoxicating swirls of a cigar. A cheeky twist of plump and juicy CHERRY celebrates the indulgence of a polished proposition.

MAIN NOTES

Cherry, Cognac, Vanilla, Black and Pink Pepper, Tobacco, Hedione.
